This is the first card in the Tarot card set named "Magician”. As the name tells us it can do some magic in one's life. Magician represents person born on 1st of the month.
The meaning of this card is taking action when required, doing what needs to be done, realizing your potential, making what's possible in real life, practicing what you preach, carrying out plans, producing magical results by using your talents.
Also acting consciously with the proceedings, acknowledging motivations and understanding the intentions. Let’s see how effective is this card when it comes in a reading.
The Magician implies that the primal forces of creativity are yours if you can claim your power and act with awareness and concentration. This card is a signal to act and act now, provided you understand exactly what you want and are committed in getting it.

First, he is not afraid to act. He believes in himself and is willing to put that belief on the line. He also knows what he intends to do and why. He doesn't hesitate because he understands his situation exactly. The Magician can focus with single-minded determination. As long as he remembers the divine source of his power, the Magician remains the perfect channel for miracles.
Let me share an experience when I came across this card.
My friend was suppose to go on a abroad trip officially, but seems the trip is in verge of getting cancelled, because they did not get a green signal till 2 days to go.
My question- Will my friend get green signal to go abroad in next 2 days.
Card drawn- Magician.
Reader- He will definitely go.
